Cancellation, Returns and Refund Policy

https://yoobuy.in (“Website” or “Platform”) is operated by Six Dimensions EMP Private Limited (“Yoobuy” or “We” or “Our”), a private limited company incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013. Yoobuy is an online marketplace to facilitate the business of building materials, home improvement products and related allied and auxiliary products through its Platform. We also engage in providing home design, renovation planning, vendor onboarding solutions (collectively, “Services”) to the users of the Platform (“User” or “Customer” “You” or “Your”).

POLICY OBJECTIVES

This returns, cancellation, and refund policy (“Returns, Cancellation and Refund Policy”), together with the terms of use, sets out our procedures and policies in accepting: (a) Product cancellations before the Product(s) are delivered to a Customer; or (b) Product returns, once a Product has been delivered to a Customer after purchase from the Platform. Any return or cancellation of Products by Customer shall be governed by and subject to the terms and conditions set out under this returns, cancellation, and refund policy.

Users are required to peruse and understand the terms of this returns, cancellation, and refund policy. If You do not agree to the terms contained in this returns, cancellation, and refund policy, You are advised not to accept the terms of use and may stop using the Platform. If ou choose to use the Platform and make a Purchase via Checkout page or via the Inquiry module, the terms contained in this returns, cancellation, and refund policy shall be applicable without modification and You agree to be bound by the terms contained herein. 

TERMS OF CANCELLATION

3.1. Cancellation before dispatch.

        3.1.1 A User is permitted to fully or partially cancel orders prior to its dispatch from Yoobuy.

        3.1.2 If Customer decides to cancel the purchase, it may be done through the Website in my account section.

        3.1.3 Yoobuy shall initiate refund within 7 (seven) business days from the date on which cancellation request is received by Yoobuy.

        3.1.4 In case of payment made through prepaid mode through any channel, the refund will be made to the original mode of payment or to Customer’s Yoobuy wallet.

        3.1.5 All refunds shall be subject to applicable charges as may be deducted by the Customer’s bank and Yoobuy’s bank as well as payment intermediaries involved in the transaction.

        3.1.6 Cancellation for any Product(s) that have been ordered by placing an Inquiry on the Platform or have been customized in any manner at the instructions of the Customer is subject to approval by Yoobuy and concerned Vendor(s)

3.2. Cancellation after dispatch.

        3.2.1 It is not possible to modify or cancel an order, partially or fully, after its dispatch from Yoobuy.

        3.2.2 Delivery status of the order can be checked through unique shipping ID which is provided by Yoobuy at the time dispatch.

TERMS OF RETURN AND REFUND

All Products on Yoobuy are classified Full Return/Refund, Vendor Discretion Return/Refund and None Return/Refund. Do read all sections carefully to understand the conditions and cases under which returns will be accepted and check the Description Section on Product display page for Product specific return information.

4.1 For a successful return or refund request

        4.1.1 It is required that You keep the Product(s) in its unused condition, with its outer box or case, user manuals, warranty cards and other accompaniments

        4.1.2 Product(s) must be packaged in exactly the same way it was received.

        4.1.3 The Return/Refund request should be initiated within 7 business days from the date of delivery.

Any discrepancy to the above conditions shall by default disqualify the return/refund request.

4.2 Return/Refund eligibility of a Product(s)

Yoobuy classifies the return/refund eligibility of a product in the following 3 categories: Full Return/Refund, Provisory Return/Refund and None Return/Refund

This classification is applicable to all Product(s) listed on and purchased through Yoobuy. It is governed by the category of Product, time elapsed between delivery completion and return/refund initiated, whether the Product is customised in any form, further it may depend on Vendor discretion and geographical location of the pick-up.

        4.3 Return/Refund classification – Products under Full Return/Refund, Provisory Return/Refund and None Return/Refund

                4.3.1 Full Return/Refund

                        4.3.1.1 Only the Products under this classification are eligible for Full or Partial Return/Refund.

                        4.3.1.2 Products must have been purchased via Checkout from the Platform and payment for the order should have been processed successfully to Yoobuy.

                        4.3.1.3 Only products that are not under any other Return/Refund classification shall qualify for Full Return/Refund

                        4.3.1.4 Products in the following Product Categories on the Platform only may be covered under, these are: Hardware, Electricals, Security & Automation, Bathware, Lighting, Kitchenware and Water Solutions. These Product Categories are indicative of nature of the products and are not be considered as absolute in any manner.

                        4.3.1.5 Unless specified by Yoobuy at the time of confirming the Order, any Product(s) ordered by placing an inquiry with Yoobuy shall not be covered under Full Refund/Return

                        4.3.1.6 Any Order that has any type of customization shall not qualify for Full Refund/Return under any circumstances.

                        4.3.1.7 Any product received back at Yoobuy is subject to inspection and approval by Yoobuy and its Vendor(s) before initiating a Refund or dispatching the replacement Product(s).

                        4.3.1.8 Any Full Return/Refund request shall take at least 10(ten) business days to resolve. This time period is indicative and may vary upon the nature of the Product(s).

                4.3.2 Provisory Return/Refund

                        4.3.2.1 Products under this classification are eligible for Full or Partial Return/Refund at the sole discretion of the Vendor and would be subject to approval by the Vendor.

                        4.3.2.2 In case of Return/Refund initiated for any Product(s) classified under Provisory Return/Refund, the role of Yoobuy shall be only that of a communication platform.

                        4.3.2.3 Yoobuy shall not be responsible to provide any type of assistance or replacement to the Customer in case the Vendor refuses to accept the Provisory Return/Refund request.

                        4.3.2.4 Products in the following Product Categories on the Platform only may be covered under Provisory Refund, these are: Safety Equipment, Tiles, Electricals, Bath Fittings and Accessories, Wall Paints & Decor, Wood Products, Building Chemicals, Plastic Cabinets. These Product Categories are indicative of nature of the products and are not be considered as absolute in any manner.

                        4.3.2.5 Unless specified by Yoobuy at the time of confirming the Order, any Product(s) ordered by placing an inquiry with Yoobuy shall not be covered under Provisory Refund/Return

                        4.3.2.6 Any Order that has any type of customization shall not qualify for Provisory Refund/Return under any circumstances.

                        4.3.2.7 Any product received back at Yoobuy is subject to inspection and approval by Yoobuy and its Vendor(s) before initiating a Refund or dispatching the replacement Product(s).

                        4.3.2.8 Any Provisory Return/Refund request shall take at least 15(fifteen) business days to resolve. This time period is indicative and may vary upon the nature of the Product(s).

                4.3.3 No Return/Refund

                        4.3.3.1 Products under this classification are not eligible for full or partial return/refund under any circumstances.

                        4.3.3.2 Products in the following Product Categories on the Platform only may be covered under, these are: Cement, Plywood, God Tiles, Nature Tiles, Poster Tiles, Yoobuy Combos, Specialty Chemicals, Water Tanks, and all types Services offered by Yoobuy. This is an indicative list, and may be revised by Yoobuy at any time without prior indication.

                        4.3.3.4 In addition, all orders placed on Yoobuy via the Inquiry module shall fall under No Return/Refund.

                        4.3.3.5 Any Product(s) customized in any manner according to the Customer specifications shall fall under No Return/Refund.

        4.4 Refunds

                4.4.1 Any Refund request is subject to Payment received by Yoobuy from the Customer at the time of placing the Order or at the time of Delivery.

                4.4.2 A Refund is initiated by Yoobuy only after receiving the return shipment of the Returned Product(s) and after successful verification of the Returned Product(s) that it has not been altered, damaged or modified in way.

                4.4.3 Yoobuy can disqualify a Refund request if its Yoobuy or concerned Vendor(s) find that the Return Shipment differs in any way with the Order Shipment in any of the following ways, namely – Accessories, Colour, Weight, Finish, or it is received by Yoobuy in a damaged condition.

                4.4.4 All Refunds shall be processed to the original mode of Payment or to the Yoobuy Wallet.
