Weber – Integral Waterproofing Additive – webertec mixIL

It is a specially designed integral water proofing additive for cement mortar, plaster and concrete to prevent water ingress. This additive is compatible with different grades of cement and reacts with cementitious matrix to provide water repellent properties by improving workability and cohesiveness of mortar and concrete.

– Increases durability of concrete by reducing permeability and improving intrinsic waterproofing of concrete & mortar.

– Minimizes shrinkage cracks in concrete and mortar.

– Being in liquid form, it gets easily dispersed in concrete and mortar.

– Cohesive and reduced permeable concrete resists reinforced steel bars from corrosion.

Directions for use

– Add cement, aggregates and sand as per the mix design in concrete mixer and mix the content for 2- 3 minutes.

– Add 70 – 80 % of mixing/gauging water and mix for another 2-3 minutes.

– Stir webertec mixIL before use. Add recommended dosage of webertec mixIL to remaining quantity of gauging water.

– Add this mixture to concrete /mortar mixer and mix the content for 2- 4 minutes.

– Pour the concrete/mortar for the required applications.

– As with all structural concrete and cement mortars, good curing practice should be maintained. Water spray, wet hes sian  or a spray applied curing membrane should be used.

Dosage

– The optimum dosage of weber mixIL to meet specific requirements should always be determined by trials, using material and conditions that will be experienced during use.

– Normal typical dosage is 200 ml per bag of 50 kg cement.
